Easyfundraising
Raise money for the Bands just by doing your ordinary online shopping via the Easyfundraising portal. This page explains how it works. There are over 2,700 retailers who participate in the scheme, each donating a different percentage of what you spend to Hampshire County Youth Band Association at no additional cost to you. Businesses (be it your own or your employer) can also make their office purchases via EasyFundraising. At the start of 2022, the Association have received almost £2,000 through Easyfundraising.
Corporate employee matchfunding
Many organisations offer match funding as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. It is a convenient way to add to an employee’s donation.
If in doubt, ask your employer if they operate a scheme and ask what the process is. Then drop us an email to chairmanhcyba@gmail.com and we will supply whatever information you need to complete your application.
Supermarket tokens
Many supermarkets, such as Waitrose, Tesco, and Co-op, run token schemes where they make donations to local charities as nominated by customers. Please would you nominate the Association at your local supermarket collection scheme. Ask at the customer desk for a nomination form. Suggested text below:
Hampshire County Youth Band Association
The HCYB Association is a charitable organisation supporting the three county youth brass ensembles by supporting and funding equipment, music, function room hire, coach and van hire, instrument purchase and repair, tutors and fees, tours and clothing.
The bands provide extended musical and social opportunity to approximately 160 young brass players across Hampshire.
Playing in an ensemble benefits children in many ways; they learn to co-operate and contribute responsibly as part of a team; hard work is rewarded by collective output and social engagement. The children also learn to share their music with the wider world at concerts both in the UK and abroad.

Amazon Smile
If you shop regularly via Amazon then this is another free and easy way to support the bands. Raffles
The HCYBA hold a raffle at most concerts. This is always a successful way of fundraising for all the Bands but is only successful if enough draw prizes are donated. So please, donate a prize to the Raffle Draw. You can bring a suitable prize to Perins on any Saturday or to the Band Stall on the night of the Concert.
